Nkoranza SHS PTA donates furniture to the School with great joy.
The Nkoranza Senior High School's Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in the Nkoranza South Municipal has donated 400 pieces of mono desks to the Nkoranza Senior High School in Nkoranza, in the Bono East Region.
This good news came as a results of the Parent -Teacher Association (PTA) to support the school with a good writing desk to ease the sitting pressure on the children to make them sit comfortable to enhance their learning. The desks were procured from contributions of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
However, presenting the future to the school, Mr. Owusu Gyamfi who is the chairman for the Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) said the inadequacy of furniture in the school which forced the form two (2) students to share the final year student's desks to write their exams prompted the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in an exigency to make a move to support the school with the desks. Mr. Gyamfi said the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) this year is exploring avenues for the procurement of dual desks for all the students as their numbers keep increasing now due to large intake during admission to the school and this is not done to support them some students might not get a sitting place.
Meanwhile, receiving the furniture which is the desks, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Collins Adu Yeboah in his exaltation to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) stated his envisage has been answered by the PTA's exigency and was so thankful for their support to the school.
He also applauded the school's management for their effort adding 100 mono desks to the school. Therefore he urged the students to make sure that the desks were used for the right purpose accordingly and should be well taken care of.
Finally, the students, represented by the school's girls prefect, Yelulor Mavis showed their profound gratitude and appreciation to the Nkoranza Senior High School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for the kind gesture and contribution towards the school. We pray that God grant the parent teacher Association more strength to support the school even in the near future and their contribution will never be forgotten. We the students will make good use of the future donated by the parent teacher association. We will make sure that good care is also given to all the future.
